Peekaboo!

Emily is working on her mastery of peekaboo.  We especially like it when she tries to cover her eyes with her hands and doesn't quite get them placed right.

Emily was baptised on Sunday at our church, Park Hill United Methodist Church. We are blessed to have Emily's grandparents and new godparents, Patrick and Beth Blische in town for the weekend. She also had a lot of pool time with her godbrother Jack (Pat and Beth's son).

BBQ Weekend

Emily attended her first Frisco BBQ Challenge as a member of the Q' Tang Clan! She had a great time even though she wasn't able to eat any of the barbecue, maybe next year. She enjoyed being outside, getting lots of attention, and playing with her friend Paige (Allison and Nathan's daughter, who is six weeks older). After the initial attacks they enjoyed eating Cheerios together. She was also able to spend time with Uncle Ben, as he was in town for the weekend.

Sunday was also Father's Day, which we will have to celebrate another weekend as we were all recovering from the BBQ. Emily continues to love her Dad and always wants him to hold her when he is around, it is very cute.
