Baby B's Big Blog: Summer Fun

It has been awhile since we have posted any thing about what is going on, I guess that means that we have been busy. We were in the Houston area for Memorial Day weekend. We visited the zoo, swam, and got to play with the dog.

We have had lots of fun hanging out in the back yard playing in the sand box, golfing, chasing Mosby, and sitting at her new table and chairs. She has a little pool that she likes playing in, but mostly likes to splash in it and poor water in and out.

We participated in the annual Frisco BBQ festival. Adam did a great job this year and placed 10th place in brisket. It was a fun weekend!

For the 4th of July we went to Minnesota. Emily enjoyed playing with her cousins and playing in the pool. The taught her to play ring around the rosie.

Emily continues to impress us and make us laugh. Her vocabulary is slowly increasing. Some of her favorite phrases include: bu bye, sit down, Mo Mo (Mosby), and bu (bug). She loves her books, she has a different favorite every day. She likes music more and more, her favorite song being the wheels on the bus. She is still learning the hand motions, but is great at the wheels portion. Emily likes our evening walks with Mosby. Both Emily and Mosby get very excited when they hear we are going on a walk. She also loves to watch animal videos on the iPhone or iPad. Adam is trying to learn to hide his phone so she doesn't request a moo (movie). It is hard to resist that cute little face.
