Emily had her first haircut today! I figured we should probably cut her hair before her second birthday. She wasn't so sure about the whole thing, but she did very well. She sat there and just took it all in. She didn't even squirm too much! I would love it if she sat that nice when I tried to do her hair at home. The best part was when we were done she got to sit and read books. The cute bow stayed in her hair for about two minutes, not even long enough to get home.

Bathing Beauty!
New Baby crib
36 Weeks
Emily was in a silly mood enjoying playing outside. She enjoyed the picnic snack on the steps and posing for pictures. She loves being outside, but not a huge fan of actualy swimming in the pool. If she sees her swimsuit or swim diaper she wants to put it on.
Emily is usually good about eating vegetables. She doesn't like cucumbers (I think they are too crunchy), but she liked eating it whole.
We are finishing up the new nursery. Here is a quick picture of the bedding. It is hard to get a good picture as we still have a queen size bed in the room. We are keeping the bed in there for awhile as we think we might have some visitors this fall!

Summer Fun: Continued!
Emily and Grandma Linda from the 4th
We continue to have a fun summer with outings to the zoo, playgrounds, walks with Mosby, splashing in the pool in the yard, and even a trip to White Fence Farm last weekend. We took Great Grandmother out for fried chicken and to see the farm animals. Emily loved feeding the animals the first time, but then when we went back for a second round she wasn't so sure. She continues to show us how to feed the animals by sticking out her hand and going "num, num, num!" She thinks it is pretty funny. We have even let her feed Mosby that way a couple of times, but she's not always great at putting her hand flat so Mosby can get the food.
We have been getting ready for the new baby and slowly getting the room finished. Emily knows (I think) that there is a baby in my belly, but I'm not sure if she realizes the baby is going to come and live with us. When we ask where the baby is she will lift up my shirt, her shirt, and even Adam's shirt to show you the baby. She has been playing more with baby dolls and loves putting them to sleep. I have been feeling pretty good, but not moving very fast these days. We have five more weeks to get everything ready!
